How do I change my username? :)

Thank you. No need on the password... once I delete it from y password manager, it's effectively the same thing.

How do I change my username? :)

Please change my username to NoLongerHere. Thank you.

    Please delete my account

As far as I can see it isn't possible for normal users to delete anything which is over 24 hours old, and it appears those recent posts can only be edited. Which makes the "just delete your content" answer completely worthless. So is there actually a method I can use in order to do this?

    Please delete my account

"Delete your content" isn't really a working answer, since it doesn't appear that I can remove items (older than 24 hours?) from threads that I didn't originate. If this is incorrect, please enlighten me.

    Please delete my account

Is it possible for you to disable the account in a way that clearly marks it as inactive?

    Please delete my account

No. I've just been gradually getting tired of the toxicity, and finally decided that ScubaBoard simply isn't worth the effort.

That figures. One more to love about this site.

    Please delete my account

I've already requested this via the Contact Us form, but for completeness I'll post it here as well. Please delete my account, including all content and profile data. While ScubaBoard has been a helpful resource, it's also a surprisingly toxic community. This has been building little by little...

Is limited solo diving completely insane for a new diver?

That sort of attitude is exactly why I rarely post on ScubaBoard. It can be a surprisingly toxic community.

Is limited solo diving completely insane for a new diver?

While it's likely too early to be an option in your case, one of the instructors (who was absolutely fantastic, by the way) from my local dive shop let me audit the PADI Self Reliant course when I was somewhere in the 55-60 dive range. As you speculated, they held off issuing the card until I...

    CO Analysers

Given DiveNav's customer service history, I'd strongly recommend avoiding their products.

    Garmin entering the dive industry?

Yes, it has a configurable backlight setting for dive mode. By default it's set to "At Depth", which turns it on at a depth of about 20 feet, with a default brightness level of 20%. You can also set it to "Always On", which keeps it at the configured brightness level for the entire duration of...

PADI Self Reliant vs SDI Solo

I was sure I'd seen that before, but was having trouble finding it again. Thanx!

Dive ops WPB / Jupiter, and Irma. How'd they fare?

Sounds like the Kyalami made it through without incident.

    Worth getting a solo card?

The policy of an individual dive operation has little to do with the merits of the certification itself.

    Ineligible log entries

At this point I've switched almost exclusively to logging dives electronically. The only exceptions are training dives which get signed by an instructor, and items where I might need a signed log entry for followup visits. Bonne Terre Mine is a good example of the latter... in order to skip the...

    Guess it - Win it

@DiveNav Be sure to let people know that you don't value customers on the Android platform, and have absolutely no intention of supporting them. That would, of course, require honesty and integrity.

If you dive alone, you die alone ...

That's still accurate, unless you're currently enrolled in their Divemaster program. 60 dives is deemed sufficient in that case, presumably because it's paired with the additional DM training.
