    Tore My Rix SA-6B Apart

My take on this...and keep in mind I'm by no means an engineer...is that " No, don't substitute CR's for the PB's" ....but if you HAD no other options...as in..." Compressors dead without new PBR's..." you COULD get away with substituting CR's for PB rings as a last resort, without really...

If I remember correctly..Lefeet was good for about 1 dive before needing charge. Blacktip goes all day on a single charge.

6.4.5 CYLINDERS. All cylinders can be extracted by removing the pistons, unbolting the cylinder heads, and sliding the cylinder sleeves out. The cylinder bores should be free from pits or scoring as this will cause accelerated ring wear and blow-by. The top surface of each cylinder acts as a...

Search for four missing Divers off coast of North Carolina

Wow.... some really interesting "statements" regarding how the search was conducted, and the time it took to find the divers.... Let's not forget....100's of millions of $'s in assets were tasked without delay....I for one am very thankful of the job the CG does, and have nothing but good...

    Rix SA-6 Parts

I think the whole tensioning thing is about the mount plate...it's designed to swap between gas /electric, so it's up to you based on the motor/mounting choice. I have adopted a "set it and forget it" position re: belt tension... I mount engine, get it close tension wise, than make sure my belt...

    Rix SA-6 Parts

Pretty much... I DID NOT have to disassemble the entire head...was the o ring at the head/block that was bad...popped head off as a unit, changed o ring, reassembled. Was amazed at the neat little trick for removing the belt drive wheel...2 allen head lockers out, swap one into the other hole...

and...remember..... Rix engineered this thing to run constant duty cycles at 3600psi...and while yes, the shroud is important in regards to heat removal...I have ZERO qualms that a small electric fan would MORE than suffice if your worried about cooling... For my duty, I fill HP 100's and...
