    Best way to dry gear?

I soak my things in a freshwater and soap mixture to get rid of saltchrystals after each day of diving, and I then hang it up in the boilerroom and turn on the 'de-moister' or whatever it's called in english, anyhow it's a machine that draws the moist out of the air and likewise the equipment...

    Best 'Lesser Known' dives?

Yeah, I dont remember if there where monthly schemes or weekly but yes you have to know it. You only dive every 6th hours when the current turns, otherwise it'll be too strong and push you down to depths Nuno Gomez wouldnt even dream about. Needless to say, all dives are drift-dives =)...

    WORST diving experience

Diving under a 90m long cargo ship in search for dents in the hull. It was like diving in a cup of coffee, first 4 inches was brown then it was pitch black and all visual orientation that could be made was the red hull above your head and the bubbles from your exhales going to either side of...

    Best 'Lesser Known' dives?

Saltstraumen in northern Norway! Beeing the worlds strongest maelstrom it has the most oxygen-rich water on the planet, witch means an insane amount of spiecies. Worlds top cold water dive if you ask me.

What is your biggest Fear in diving?

I really fear the bow of wrecks in bad vis. I have no clue of why but so it is. Just picturing searching for a wreck along the bottom in bad vis makes me shiver! I know it sounds wierd but nothing scares me more, I mean the rest I can still do something about even if it's currents, equipment or...

    Suunto Support

I too own a Suunto comp. The depth-sensor went nuts for me aswell. About 12 hours in about 40 degrees C water and some dish-soap cured my problem. I dont know if you'r problem is the same, I assume some salt-crystal made mine go nuts. Otherwise Suunto has been great when i've encountered...

Suunto Vyper/Gekko or ???? Too conservative?? Please help me chose a computer!!

I totally love Suunto's products! It gets as conservative as you want it to be, less or more. I believe all Suunto computers have a personal conservatism setting, I thinks it's 4 stages, either 0, 1, 2 or 3. A little about the Suunto RGB model.

    Freaking out about unintentional ascent

Just as *dave* wrote, you will (god forbid that it happends) notice if you get bent. As you said, a no-decompression dive is a no-decompression dive. But one should remember that there is an obligation on doing a safety stop at 5 meters for 3 minutes if the dive is deeper of equal to 30...

    Technique

What I know there's no literatuer book that covers the techniques for finning or other things, unless it's covered in any IANTD, NAUI, GUE or other technical diving manuall. The things I know about finning, heli-turns and buoyancy is thought to me by my 'mentor'

    Views on ice diving?

Ice diving is awesome! Superior vis, no currents and an awesome cloudshaped ice-sealing (if done in a lake or mine-area) But ice diving as any other diving activity should be done with great responsibility. One line-commander per divepair or one line-commander and only one divepair in the...

Finally The first step to Become a Rescue Diver

Great! I've taken plenty of courses, in school, in icehockey, through work and diving but when I had completet the Rescue Diver course I felt really great about myself somehow. I felt like 'damn, this was a really really great course' and got a few mindbeakers along the way. Good luck...

Where have you experienced the strongest currents?

Jackson Reef, Straits of Tiran, Egypt. Extreme along-reef current and I had enough luck to be pulled along with a downgoing current wich led to a little too fast ascend for a couple of meters back to my buddies (we were diving in a 3 pair and I was the furthest away from the reef wall)...
