I have 36" on swivel, 40" non-swivel. I prefer my non-swivel regs, the 36" is a little too long, I end up rotating the turret to point the hose down the cylinder anyway, kind of defeat the point.

I would guess most (definitely many) GUE-affiliated dive centers rent 3l and BO cylinders and sell sorb, including Red Sea Explorers for the charter/destination side of the question as well (Egypt).
