Hermosa, do you know if there is a beginner/medium level area near the Villas Sol to go boogie boarding? I'm not sure I'm up for a real surf trip, just like to boogie board more easy waves.

I don't know about those sites, but I went to the locations off Ambergris Key, and they were great. I think the Blue Hole was totally overrated, and not worth the trip except for the dives done AFTER it. They were beautiful.

Hermosa, do you know about any Dive Fest that's supposed to be going on there that week? I saw you posted water temps in the 70-78 degree range.. I'm guessing my 3mm full might be a bit too thin then??

Diving Safaris quoted $325 for 10 dives. So that's less than 70 for 2 tanks. But what's the dive fest all about? Or is that not during that time I'll be there? Is the water really that cold? I see from others on some other threads that it wasn't that cold when they were there around this...
