Playa Hermosa (Diving Safaris) April 29- May 6th

Hermosa, do you know if there is a beginner/medium level area near the Villas Sol to go boogie boarding? I'm not sure I'm up for a real surf trip, just like to boogie board more easy waves.

    Belize dives which to do?

I don't know about those sites, but I went to the locations off Ambergris Key, and they were great. I think the Blue Hole was totally overrated, and not worth the trip except for the dives done AFTER it. They were beautiful.

Playa Hermosa (Diving Safaris) April 29- May 6th

Hermosa, do you know about any Dive Fest that's supposed to be going on there that week? I saw you posted water temps in the 70-78 degree range.. I'm guessing my 3mm full might be a bit too thin then??

    Costa Rica - continuing chat

Diving Safaris quoted $325 for 10 dives. So that's less than 70 for 2 tanks. But what's the dive fest all about? Or is that not during that time I'll be there? Is the water really that cold? I see from others on some other threads that it wasn't that cold when they were there around this...

Lodging recommendations in Roatan, Utila & Belize

I was in Roatan last year and stayed at Fantasy Island. I cannot recommend it enough. I loved the place. I went there on one of their all-inclusive dive packages. I had a great room, (one of the newer ones), the diving was excellent, the beach was awesome.. I actually had no reason to...

    Costa Rica - continuing chat

I'm going to be in the area at the end of April/Beginning of May.. I don't know who I'll use yet, but Rich Coast seems to cost more than Diving Safaris, plus will be a drive from my hotel, Villas Sol. But I haven't decided who I'm going to use yet. Would be nice to know more about this...

Playa Hermosa (Diving Safaris) April 29- May 6th

Is anyone planning on diving in Costa Rica, the Playa Hermosa area (The northern one) between April 29th and May 6th? I'm staying at Villas Sol and was planning to use Diving Safaris, as they're right at the beach. I'd love to meet some other divers while I'm there. Let me know if you'll...

    If you had the opportunity......

I was just in Aruba 2 weeks ago.. I've been to the Bahamas as well... ARUBA is the place to stay! If I could find a 6 year stint there, I'd take it in a minute.

    morrits tortuga club Grand Cayman

I was at Moritt's, and used Tortuga Divers, a couple of years ago. Unless things have changed, they take you out on a very large boat to the dive sites. (Some would say cattle boat) But they had enough dive masters on the boat, and enough space, to move around. They also took you down in...

    Scuba Diving in Aruba December

I was on that same dive with Robert on the 9th. I have to agree that Clive is a great divemaster. I dove with him 5 different days, including a night dive. He was a pleasure to work with. Check out his site at www.divearuba.com and either call or email him. He is very knowledgeable...

Who has the best wreck diving in the Caribbean

I just got back from diving in Aruba. They had many wrecks, with the airplane wreck being one of my favorites. The Antilla was also nice, and VERY long, though the water was a bit cloudy that day. If you like to see more than just the wreck, such as sea life, you'll love all the Morays that...

Looking for a good operator in Grand Cayman and Aruba

I must have been diving the same time as Bridgediver, as I also dove with Clive from www.divearuba.com the other week. Clive was great. Great service, and a small, but very professional operation. Clive knows all the sites as he has been diving them from the beginning. Great briefings...
