I am not sure I would book "a really cheap" liveaboard but then again your idea of cheap and mine might be different. I also haven't heard of the boat and if the owners arguing about a domain name not sure I would want to book either.

I am firmly in the camp of teaching nitrox as soon as possible, BSAC will be introducing nitrox in to their Ocean diver course very soon. As for task loading of students I don't see a problem with pumping all trainees tanks with 32% which is good to 30m a depth they shouldn't be at anyway...

I have only used an Ali BP with my IQ packs, which is great if you want to use in on holiday, although you can leave the BP out of you use a single tank adapter.
