Anyone up for a dive at the Cove or Shores tomorrow?

It sounds like Clear Lake is more of a marketing term than a reflection of reality (like "semi-dry wetsuit"). Thanks, guys! I'll head for Ft Bragg (and start a separate thread).

Is there any diving in Clear Lake? I'm going to be staying there for a week after Thanksgiving (Kelseyville). Or would I be better off going over to the coast?

I tried installing 2.0.1 on my laptop, and it didn't work at all. It seemed like a normal install, but I would get an error msg each time I tried to run it. I never had this problem with any of the earlier versions. So I uninstalled it, and reinstalled 1.6. I don't think I'll even try it on...

Thanks for letting me dive with you guys! It turned out my tank valve wasn't open very far, which accounted for the flaky pressure readings on my computer. Well, I won't make that mistake again.

I used a Seaquest Balance with an Airsource and an Aqualung Titan LX for several years. It was never "adjusted" that I know of, and it worked fine.

I'm game for a Cove dive. Got room for one more?

I have a Suunto Stinger, and it's now my favorite piece of dive gear. If I ever had to quit diving, I'd get rid of all my other gear, but keep the Stinger.

I've been on this boat. I'd go again, regardless of this incident. Yes, the boat is pretty "relaxed", but I like it that way.
