Oceanic Atom 2 - HOW TO LINK? - HELP!

Pages 70 and 71 give instructions on how to input the the transmitters serial number(link code) into the wrist computer. Check to see if the link code is still in the watch as it sounds like it isn't.

Best places to dive anywhere in Oz in July / August

+1 for South West rocks, you would be hard pressed to not see a grey nurse, and don't forget the cave.

    Need mask help!

You need to wash the whole mask in warm soapy water and let it dry. Pay attention to the rubber not just the glass and repeat the process. I had similar problems with my oceanic shadow mask. I did the toothpaste thing to no avail like yourself. It wasn't until someone mentioned to me about...

    Extreme susceptibility to fatigue. Why?

I had a similar problem with fatigue but not as bad as your friend and it affected me every day. I had blood test's done and found I had extremely low iron levels to which the GP was asking all sorts of questions and was suspecting internal bleeding. Turns out my community spirit of donating...

Raja Ampat with the Canon S95

I would definitely be interested in the the wiz slate, as a beginner I would find it a very helpful tool. Great shots by the way, after watching your video you can see how the Pygmies got their name, man they are tiny.

Macro recommendations for FIX S100 housing?

Here are some of my first shot's using inon ucl165's on a Recsea housing and S100, the sea urchin and the seastar were shot with stacked 165's. I'm happy with my choice and with the images I shot on my first outing and can't wait to spend more time with them. Good luck with your decision.

Hero3 Black with Blurfix3 SO and macro filters

Great stuff Marty you certainly picked a good day for Flinders Pier. The purple fish is an Ornate Cowfish (Aracana ornata) and is found in Port Philip Bay and obviously at Flinders Pier.

    Depth Limit

How much deeper do you plan on going. The depth ratings on most housings relate to operating depths and will be ok at further depths but the controls may not operate. I have taken a Sony OEM housing rated to 40m to 55m on a number of occasions and had full operational control and no issues. A...

Fishrock Dives SRP filter on GoPro Dive housing

Great stuff Marty, Our club was up there in July and we got lucky with the weather and had a few days of great vis. Out of the 10 divers we had on the trip 6 had Gopro's with one diver losing his on the exit of the cave. Unbelievably we found it the next day and he was rapt. The Gopro's have...

    Uflm150-zm80

Thanks Layla Everything I have read about this lens and I've read a lot, does say it is a great little lens for up close shooting. I will end up buying it for the macro alone but was curious if anyone had tested it as a general wide angle fish eye. I was given the previous information by a...

    Uflm150-zm80

I've been told this little lens as well as being a very good up close lens can also shoot wide angle, as in you can take shots of say a whale shark. I was hoping some divers with experience in using this lens could also shed some light on the capabilities and short comings of this lens.

what housing should I get with an S100?

Foxfish have you checked out Camera Paradise online, that's where I purchased my S100 and it cost just over $400 with a second battery. It arrived at my door in five days from Hong Kong and they give you a tracking number to track it. Having a spare camera for your housing is always a good plan...

Finally pulled the trigger on my upgrade to the Canon S100

Great! Still getting over last weeks storms when we got over 140mm of rain in 12 hours. I'm heading up to South West Rocks with a heap of mates next month and was hoping to get more of a handle on the new setup. Anyway good luck with your setup.

Finally pulled the trigger on my upgrade to the Canon S100

Foxfish, I noticed this straight away when I first got my housing and have dived it twice and been relieved that it operates freely when diving. As for your poor vis, I wish I had 8 metres as the only times I've been able to get out with my new set up(camera only then) the best I've had was 4...

1st time out with my S100

Thanks Dean I'll give it a go. As for the white balance, as I said I shot everything in auto and was diving in an average of 4 metres under a Pier with about 2 metres vis.
