I have had vertigo on accent and threw up on surfacing on occasion, one thing I haven't seen mentioned and helped me was I was diving with a 7mm tight hood and I found opening the hood on the sides with the ears to let a bit of water in helped, so maybe a pressure differential?
The Solomon Islands still has great diving!
I have been going to the Solomons for the last 15 years, generally multiple times per year every year (except 2020 and 2021).
Covid hit the dive opperators hard as borders were closed for nearly 2 years and they were without any income so...
Also I use left and right hand second stages so neither hose crosses eachother, my body or goes around my neck they both just come up each side from each cylinder, so they are not trapped under the loop.
Ok it came across much more serious than that.
Last time I did an actual bailout from the necklace (pretending the bov was either broken or a caustic) it was from 80m / 260ft and I put the loop up rather than down so I could vent the gas all the way up and it was no issue at all including...
Hey I'm curious, why?
I have been diving my Sidewinder in this configuration (bov & necklaced reg) since 2016 so 8 years and I guess I might not know what I don't know?

I like using rechargeable batteries in both of them the...
I have both the Petrel 2 (sold my Predator) and an OSTC3+
With the Petrel being smaller than the Predator and the small size of the OSTC3 I can now fit both on the same arm easily.
Both great computers with great support!
I wanted a backup that was as good (or better) and ran different...
I have the OSTC3 (non sport), the display is bright and sharp and the battery life is as good as my Shearwater.
I use 3.7v Li-Ion rechargeable batteries in both.
