Reasons for aluminum b/p with single aluminum tank?

I've never had a problem with it regardless of the tank. If you over inflate the wings, it tends to push you face down. The cure.....don't over inflate the wings.

OK, don't overinflate. An unconscious diver might have a problem with that though. I love these DIR divers. If EE were selling regulators with exhaust tubes routed through the ears some divers here would defend it. I use a back inflate but, being a stroke, I understand its limitations.
 
If divers spent half as much time learning how to avoid surfacing unconsciously in the first place as they do worrying about what color BC they are using.... Anyway, if a diver surfaces unconscious, drowning is likely the least of his worries. Fix the problem, don't put a bandaid on it. BC's are not life preservers.
