Vis at tyee wasn't much better today then it was yesterday, although below the 90 foot mark the vis was drastically better. There was two open water classes (one with about 6 divers and the other group looked to be about 12) that were doing their dives in the shallows, which stirred up the much a bit, but it didn't affect the vis deeper then 30. Good to see a new crop of divers coming up!!

0-30 feet, vis was about 5-10
30-90 feet, vis was about 20-25
below 90, vis was about 30-40

Went to Tyee up here in Nanaimo to work on a few projects I have on the go, and vis at about 6pm was maybe 5feet. The water was also starting to look a bit stringy like it does in the summer with algae blooms. Fingers crossed it was just because it was low tide.

About 20 - 25 feet of visibility on the big wall at Madrona yesterday morning.

Best vis was below 30 feet, anything above 30 wasn't good at all.

Lots of stringy algae in the water.

Vis was about 5 - 10 feet at Tyee this morning, even down at 90 feet :(

Lots of stringy algae in the water, which made things worse.

A "night dive" during the day.
