It is "news" to us 'locals' because of the location which is in the intra-coastal waterway. When this happens just a two miles away in the ocean, it is not news.

Between that and the stories we hear about Australian spiders and snakes, I wonder about my desire to visit there. :)







Of course, I definitely would visit there if it ever fits in my budget.
 
I got one of these wrapped around my bare arm once while surfing. It's not really that bad, the paralysis goes away in about an hour. :rofl3: Although, I did have to drive home with only one arm. And no, peeing on yourself doesn't help! :rofl3:
