I have a problem with my ears. I can not go under more than ten feet or my ears will start hurting bad from the pressure. Is there anything that could help with this problem would be awesome

Are you equalizing your ears? This is also a subject a would strongly recommend speaking with a doctor that is familiar with diving about.

If you're not equalizing, the valsalva (I think that's how you spell it) technique works for shallow freediving. Simply pinch your nose and exhale (well, try to), but do not let the air out. This should force air into your ears. If you have heard a cracking sound and feel pressure in your ears (if you practice on dry land), you've done it right. Do this often when freediving.

Edit: Often while descending.
