Merry and I are still too sick to dive, but well enough to run the Moby Kate while Andy dived. During the surface intervals we were entertained by dolphins, pelicans and purple-striped jellies. Andy reported mediocre vis on the Star of Scotland and nearby rockpiles, but the ocean was calm and we had a great time, even though no juvenile Great Whites were spotted.

Oh, LOVELY jelly pictures! They bring back great memories of my very first dive ever in Southern Cal, at Vet's Park. The whole dive was fun, seeing critters I'd never seen before, but at the end, in about ten feet of water, we found one of those purple and white jellies that was the size of a beach ball. It was amazing!

I was on the RIB that pulled up when you were leaving. Somehow, I missed seeing the herd of jellies in your first photo...

Hope Mary & you feel better and can get in the water soon.
