Diving Florida - January

Merry Christmas to All! I will be on a business trip to Tampa, Florida during the second week of January and I would like to stay an extra 5 -7 days to do some diving in Florida. I have been thousand times in Miami and Orlando but have never been diving in Florida. I have heard that Key Largo is the place to go, also I have heard about Jupiter. Since I will be flying to Miami after Tampa, I am planning on renting a car and drive anywhere to dive. I have a few questions:
1. Where do you recommend? Key Largo, Isla Morada, Jupiter or somewhere else?
2. Hotel/Dive Shop Recomendations?
3. Is a 3MM wetsuit enough?
4. Will there be good vis in mid January?

Or should I just drop the plan and do something else?

Water temps in Jupiter are low seventies right now. I would be wearing a a 3mil with a 2.5 mil hooded vest and 1 or 2 mil shorts.

I highly recommend Jupiter Dive center.

The Lemon sharks are beginning to show.

While viz will be fine, seas can be iffy this time of year no matter where you go. You might also consider the springs if seas are bad.
