I thought I remembered someone at the resort saying they were closed during October. I take it that isn't true?

Funny about that, Just 5 minutes ago I got an email from them saying that the "Buy 1 get 1 for $300" special was back for a limited time. Travel from September 12 to October 16 only. When I booked back in last of June first of July, that time was listed as no availability for anything (actually still is except for the week of October 10 - 17) on the on-line calendar. I remember it becasue I was looking at going either on October 17 or 24 (earliest in the year I could go) depending on cost of flights since I have a Continental voucher (finally said the heck with it and just booked starting on the 24th and used frequent flyer miles for a free ticket :eyebrow: first class!).

OK the "checkout" dive is what i am used to from diving Grand Cayman. Gives the DM a chance to look at you and see if you appear to have it together and if you don't he knows to watch you a little closer and MAYBE not pick harder dives.

Check out Wave Dancer Tragedy before selecting a liveaboard.

Thanks but I don't need to. Experienced diver with many liveaboards under my belt. I've also read the book about this tragedy and discussed the event with one of the survivors.

And don't forget to check the date of a thread. You responded to one that was opened and last posted to several months ago.
