Just wondering if it's good for a 4-5 year old while mom and dad dive?

Cozdreamer, Check out WWW.divetech.com They have a fantastic program for all ages of kids. The kids sea camp is in July, Divetech staff keeps the kids busy from 8:00am till 3:00 pm. Your little ones being 4 & 5 would more than likely be in the Sassy program, They have a Sassy unit which reminds me of a life jacket with a Pony tank on the back and a little reg for their tiny mouth, The kids snorkle with the unit on, The kids are getting use to breathing and watching the air gage. They put it on in the pool then the instructor will end up taking them into the ocean off Cobalt Coast dock. The kids are fed a morning snack, lunch, there is also plenty of other things to do, art, treasure hunt, sub ride, movie night,(so mom & dad can do a night dive)They also get to check out the Turtle farm, Maybe even see a year old turtle get released at the Turtle Reef shop. I have helped out at Divetech's kid sea camp and The children no matter of the ages are NEVER left unattended. Check out the web site if you have any questions Im sure you could talk to Nancy. Have Fun. Turtle Gal

Took our entire family 2 summers ago and can not recommend it highly enough. Our kids were not quite as young as yours, 8, 9, 14 & 15, but they loved it. Enjoying the water and land based activities with kids their own age was a great motivator, and we dove with no guilt and complete enjoyment.

The folks at KSC (Margo, et. al.) really know what they are doing with kids of all ages, and DiveTech and Cobalt Coast are fantastic. Patient and comfortable with kids of all ages (including the adult variety).

Cayman is great for non-diving activities too, so if you want to spend some time sight seeing and shopping, that's an option too.

It's a great choice, you won't regret it.
