Hi Ontario Divers
How about posting some pictures of wrecks visited, or just some nice shots of you diving!
Or how about a link that shows some nice pictures of Ontario diving sites.
Divedude - how about Kingston?

I was at my LDS recently and he had a copy of a proposed new law in Quebec that came about as a result of several scuba deaths. Apparently now (as of April) you will be required by law to purchase a license from some Quebec diving organization (FQAS) in order to dive in the province. This license will require you to provide proof of training (a C-card) and proof of recent dives. It looks like another government tax grab and more Quebec bureaucratic BS. That governemnt loves to regulate.

http://www.fqas.qc.ca/FAQ_rules.htm...ion on diving and is there a way to avoid it?

scroll down to Quebec Federation FQAS

Visiting, ie: non-resident, divers must also buy this license. I was told that the Kingston-Cornwall area may become full of Quebec divers. Can anyone confirm this?

I live in Brockville and have dove in all the areas mentioned so far. Brockville and its emmediate area is very good. Perhaps it is because i live here but diving in lake erie has been the most rewarding. The weather is so problimatic so i can understand why some might get put off by this area. i hope everyone gets the chance to dive lots of locals. Toby is however so overated. One or two visits and its done.

cheers everyone

In Toby there are far more wrecks & shore dive sites available than "one or two visits" will cover.

Just look at Cris Kohl's books about all the places available in the area and you'll see what I mean...
