The one on the left is the type we get here. Did you know that some are left handed and some are right? The one in the pic is right handed (it goes by the crushing claw).

Regulations here are the same, as far as taking them with scuba gear - total confiscation. That includes freediving too!

can you take them freediving?

Yes, but it's very hard to find them and it's pretty deep (30 meteres and deeper) for a freediving and hunting. Most of lobsters are hunted by fishermen with cages.
