Thanks for the ChatGPT answer.

What "progress within the industry" does the anti-drowning bracelet do? I guess it makes it easy to find the body if it is hanging by its wrist from an orange buoy. Assuming it's found within a week or so.

isn't Hotdive the OEM producer of SG?

By selling the product as a Hotdive regulator, isnt' Hotdive killing it's own customer ... SG?

Yes SG being Scuba Gaskets is one of them agreed but others have been known in the past before SG

No SG it would appear are in effect "in on the game" and know exactly what they are doing.
Its their customers that don't know what the catch with this is.

1. Scuba Gaskets simply take you order and your money.
2. They then pay Hotdive in China less their agreed commission/profit
3. Hotdive who in turn is just another front shell for another outfit who in turn are the front for yet another.
4. Eventually an outfit going by the name of Narwhal Technology Co Ltd CN ship to you directly from China
5. SG make an attempt to cover themselves by stating and I quote
  • Drop Shipping Product
  • This product is subjected to VAT and some minor Import fees upon reception by EU Customers
  • For non-EU customers, the recipient’s country rules apply as usual.
Now for you the innocent ignorant buyer and end user you have just become the importer of a non CE certitude Chinese crap import. And are subject to the VAT and import fees upon importation into lets say the UK. However if you intend to resell you then inadvertently in addition become the importer distributor and re seller a non EU or CE import and you in addition risk having the goods impounded at customs a fine or legal penalty or both.

To the supplier in China its your loss not theirs as they cannot be touched.

As for Scuba Gaskets in Cyprus being a member state of the EU they could be faced with some problems by in effect drop shipping crap from China with no certification no quality assurance and most of all no come back in case you get the import impounded by customs. But although they are on thin ice they are so small as to be mostly irrelevant as far as the costs involved and the tiny number of regulators sold.

Hence why IMHO Narwhal Technology Co Ltd in China having dumped their original OEM position and existing distributors and are now trying any desperate means available to make a few dollars US while using a guy working out of his house in Cyprus and plying our esteemed forum chairman with free gifts and trinkets together with a couple or three fanboys hopefully wishing for the big time.
