Not to argue but are you certain? There's an obvious channel that fits the middle o-ring perfectly.

No the extra groove isn’t an oring groove; that’s an update on all DIN retainer stems that happened around 00s that was happening alongside a recall for mk20s DINs

The overtorque issue I casually mentioned before was happening because the stem would dig into the body and with excessive torque could crack it; so they added a shoulder to act as a stopper so that overtorque will only damage the threads but not cause the body to crack (worst case during a dive)

So all DIN 200/300 stems from then onwards have that extra „groove“

Ok apparently this applies to Yokes as well
As the retainer is the cause of the recall-then yes. If your regulator has the older yoke or DIN retainer it is subject to the recall.

It is important to note that the damage done is to the regulator body-not the retainer. Additionally, the 3 vent saddle is supposed to indicate the recall has been accomplished-it has little to do with the actual reason for the recall.

The three vent saddle means the recall has NOT been done.

Not necessarily, some (retainers) were swapped with the old saddle still in place (I have quite a few of these, even an mk25 (post recall) with the three vent saddle) — the stem was possible to buy on its own I guess (all my regs are 2nd hand)
But they should have swapped the saddle too to make it easier to identify 🤷🏽‍♀️
But not to diverge — since that recall/service bulletin all retainers have been upgraded, giving us the “universal” kit

Hey guys,
One more question about the first stage. Its advertised as externally adjustable IP. Which end is it adjusted from? I'm thinking the end with the plastic cap and the Scubapro markings? Proper size allen wrench for it?

Figured out the size, assuming I'm right about which end to adjust it on. 7mm is not a common allen size, had to dig deep in the toolbox to find one.

If you’re tightening to increase IP do it in small increments and don’t forget to cycle the reg a few times between iterations

Edit: do this pressurized not to cut the seat

Don't need to adjust at the moment, just want to be sure I know where if I ever do.

Und
Am I right about which end? Seems to be allen key on both ends
er the black cap; the other one is the balanced chamber — IF YOU DISASSEMBLE THE BAL CHAMBER YOU WILL NEED A NEW HP SEAT
