I did a burn test on medium strobe mode, ran for 127 minutes before dropping down. The battery is a 21700, and there’s a USB-C charger built into the battery tube. What is the run time (in real life) on this light in (low to medium intensity) flood mode? I'm considering it as a replacement / backup focus light for my current Weefine Smartfocus 1000. I don't really need more light, but I find it annoying that the battery on my focus light runs down before the camera or strobes.
Also, what is the actual battery? Is it removable?
EDIT: I saw on aliexpress(!) that the battery is a 21700.

Protection circuits are typically for undervoltage protection. In the DL08 you don't need to use a protected cell, as the undervoltage protection is handled by the light itself (and this makes sense, when the charger is also built into the light body).I noticed on the Wurkkos site that the replacement batteries (and presumably the originals) are "unprotected". Does anyone know more about this? What is the (not-present) protection circuitry for? Over-discharging?
EDIT: I'm wondering how safe it is to charge these batteries in my Nitecore UMS4 charger.
