1. yes you just dont know if you are recording and that freaks me out a little, BUT you can cover the front led with some tape maybe and just watch the rear one to see if its still recording (I should do that....)
2. Fog inserts - most of the time they are not re-usable as they hold onto moisture like a child about to be put down.... I always have 2-3 in my dive housing, but have not had a single one get wet in the DJI housing, so dont worry too much. If in a pinch a tampon is a great moisture absorber....
3. Silicone grease is great stuff on springs in buttons or on seals! If I use a removeable seal then I will clean the seal and put a TINY bit of silicone grease between my fingers and drag the seal through my fingers to apply the smallest coating. However on the housing for the DJI, the thinnest smear on the seal is good to do. you dont want it to build up and become thick.

regarding apps:
I use DJI mimo to download etc and sometimes do on the fly editing but this is up to you. I either download via app or on my PC when I get home from a trip unless I have a PC to backup on.
Its a great little app for sure, WAY better than Insta 360 and you can use Dive+ for colour correction etc.

Great help, appreciated. Do you re -grease the housing every time you dive / every dive day ? no mention of it is made in the instruction booklet at all which I was surprised at. I would always be watching from the rear of the camera ( large screen when I am recording or am I missing something here ?

Is the quality of Mimo videos a high resolution, some suggestion it is at 1080p ? really appreciate your help.

I dont normally regrease the housing seal every dive but I keep it clean as heck.
Mimo is whatever you export it at to the phone. I dont run 4k on device so I export 1080 for own viewing and edit 4k at home if I shoot it.
