New Resort next to Go West on the former Kura Hulanda property

I don’t know the kh property all that well but I thought it had some units waterfront up on the cliff that stretched the length of the beach and then some and these don’t seem to be part of the b&b property, at least from looking at the resort map

There are waterfront units along the cliff. Then there are some entirely different and less fancy units sort of inland across the street. I don’t recall if they were owned or managed by KH when it was open, but they could easily be different properties.

Is there any follow up on this property? Has anybody stayed there? A couple of the links are not functional, I saw something under Bed & Bike

I have nothing. I think there are separate websites for what is being operated on the front half oceanfront side of the property and the back. Beach club front bed and bike back. No reviews on TA on bed and bike

Just saw this. Playa Beach Club Curacao - Amazing Atmosphere & Sunsets. Has anyone stayed there and for those diving at GoWest how has it impacted diving and access to GoWest. The beachside restaurant and many of the beach improvements were there when we were last there in 2023 but the resort, property above, was not open.

Of all the beaches I've been to in Curacao, the one that GoWest is on is the worst!! It was small, dirty and they charged us $15 each to be on the beach. We would have left except we got there around 10am for a 1PM dive at GoWest and they couldn't accomodate us earlier.
Will never go back to that beach!

Just to be clear gowest is the dive op located on the near side of the beach and as far as I know have nothing to do with the beach operations that are run by another business

I should have been clear that GoWest has nothing to do with the beach there. And their dive operation is excellent!

... until one of the beachgoers gets slammed into a rock and needs her cuts and scratches cleaned and covered. Then they find out who takes the money and who has the first aid kit.
