I have the G260, S600 and the 620ti. I also prefer the G260 as my main second stage.
Why? Can you put it in words why? I am really curious.
I switched the s600 to be my main and the g260 as alternate. I am going to try the s620ti next.

Not James but I believe there are at least two reasons why you want a bigger second stage within practical limits:James, why do you prefer the full size?
Considering I will likely travel with a backplate, grams are not a priority. I was asking more from the perspective of the physical bulkiness around and under the chin area. I would be wearing a necklace backup and both the regs would be the same model. Obviously, some people wear the G260s in that arrangement and it works for them. So if a person was blindfolded and couldn't really tell much of a difference between a G260 and an S620ti, would they appreciate that the S620ti was more compact and offered a little more freedom of movement under the chin area. Not James but I believe there are at least two reasons why you want a bigger second stage within practical limits:
1. The larger surface area of the diaphragm will make the regulator more responsive to negative pressure (ie inhalation).
2. A larger second stage will allow a longer lever, which has greater mechanical advantage (ie. be able to open the valve with less effort).
I never understood the trend toward smaller, lighter regulators. Anyone stressing over grams in their luggage or in their mouth underwater (when they reg is full of air and buoyant) is deluding themselves.
I wasn't referencing anyone specifically in terms of the desire for smaller second stages, just a general thing I read from time to time.Considering I will likely travel with a backplate, grams are not a priority. I have it the other way round with my MK19I switched the s600 to be my main and the g260 as alternate.
Same, or two G250s with my MK25 [or MK10] over the S600.I have multiple G250s, G260s and a S600, I also prefer and dive with G260s all the time.
As Nemrod said above. But if Scubapro were to offer the titanium barrel in a G260Ti, well,
The titanium colored part of the faceplate. It has a rivet in the top and the bottom, but not any on either side. There is a lip where it meets the other material that catches on a lot of stuff and bends that side of the plate out. No bueno. What's bending?
I couldn't quite visualize what you were explaining.
The G260 seems to breathe "easier" to me and deliver smoother/more air on the same effort. Did that make more sense? My Poseidon Odin use to feel like that....it would deliver "more" air..or at least felt like thatWhy? Can you put it in words why? I am really curious.

I also have it the same as you with my Mk19 and Mk17...G260 main and S600/620ti as the secondsI have it the other way round with my MK19
