Lol - I’m actually closer closer to 30 years past their target audience .

I get this product being desirable if you want an all-in-one watch to wear daily and don’t mind it being a honker in size. But for those like me that don’t want a daily watch, there are much better choices for dedicated dive computers with proven track records.
I’m assuming 25-35. I’m 63. My major objection is the pay per month model and the fact that I already own 2 Perdixes and 2 Terics.

Typical youtuber. He says it does air integration, but in the next sentence says it does not do tank pressure monitoring??? I'll get my dive related info from non youtube fools who don't bother to research a bit in their mad rush to post their videos to get clicks!
It does monitor tank pressure indirectly. When the heart rate monitor stops seeing a pulse it assumes your heart is longer beating as a result of you no longer breathing since you ran out of air. It will then warn that you are likely out of air.

I am 50 but also very active so I still fit the target. I would recommend older folks looking at apple watches, they are really starting to catch medical issues proactively, pretty important as we age.

Lol - but it won’t even do that if you are wearing a wetsuit!

I have zero interest in wearing a watch of any kind all day. My fitness tracker is a look at the scale and how I feel after my daily excerise/workouts.

I own an Apple Watch 7. Works fine. When it can measure glucose levels, I’ll upgrade.

I think the 7 is ideal. was mentioning the apple watches can really help catch issues, all of them, not just the Ultra. I believe they 8 does some type of glucose monitoring/pairing

Who needs 5 computers?

But then what's the advantage of the Apple/Oceanic+ DC when I can get a Deep6 Excursion for $350 and never pay a subscription fee. Oh and look the Excursion has bluetooth sync so you can log your dives to Dive Log (or others). A one year subscription for Oceanic+ is $80. After four years of diving you could have had a DC that will still do everything it did on day one and not get charged another dime for it.

To me the cost is the biggest issue. While it's great that you can leverage an existing item (an Apple watch) to also work as a DC, I feel $80 a year for the "privilege" of doing so is out of line for what it is. I can see $20/year as reasonable. Does it do anything more than a $200 Mares Puck or Cressi Leonardo?

It’s a full featured fitness watch that will offer a dive app - it’s not intended to compete with dedicated dive computers.
