I”m guessing the Facebook page is actually run by Aggressor in some way. I could be wrong…
Second post was removed.
Looks like someone at Aggresssor doesn’t want my experience publicized.

They should perhaps research the "Streisand Effect".

I just want to help people make an informed decision when choosing the Philippines Aggressor,
Thank you! That's one of the best functions of ScubaBoard, in my view. Perhaps some others who shared your trip will post trip reports here and/or on Undercurrent.org. Not to tar and feather the boat, but to make plain what the trip at that time was like.

I hope they improve their operation, and that future trip reports reflect that. I believe they will. When guests repetitively run into the same types of problems, it becomes a matter of self-interest and efficiency to fix/streamline the processes. Especially the serious ones.

The boat looking worn wouldn't have bothered me. Raw pork is a health hazard, and the smell of diesel fuel getting into your stateroom might well be. The outlet offering and need for an adapter for many people should be added to the Know Before You Go document. For your room to often smell of toilet drainage...ugh. That needs fixing. Being told you could pay fees by credit card then finding out you can't could be a big hassle.

I'm curious about this:
A main dish one day was a whole red snapper. Impressive to look at but it was served raw and had to be put in the oven only to be ready after everyone was finished.
I was once on a liveaboard elsewhere where one of the staff dove and via spearfishing returned with some mackerel type fish. He was going to share it, and I anticipated it'd be cooked, but it was pretty much laid out and the side cut open. He sensed I was not gonna eat that, and said 'Let me guess. Where you're from, that ain't food, that's bait.' Yep.

What I'm getting it is this:

1.) Was the snapper just badly undercooked, or completely raw?
2.) Is that an inappropriate way to serve it?

Bummer, I was thinking their itineraries looked interesting. Hard to know if the organization or the boat is easier/more likely to get fixed.

Some things call this a new boat, some say “new to Aggressor”, I wonder what the actual history is. Certainly if anything sits unused and especially unmaintained in a tropical climate things could go south.

Curious if you removed your post on Facebook? I was following it, but now it’s gone.

interesting.
I did not remove it.
Am I surprised it’s gone? Not really. May I should repost…

Interesting.
Who can remove your own post?
Repost it? Why not.

Sorry, I do not use Facebook. Were your posts on the Aggressor Facebook homepage under reviews? Are the page owners allowed to delete posts, seems like the answer may be, yes?

Thanks for helping me understand

The fish was badly undercooked.
It was scored and after a few people took some bits off the top, the cook was there looking at it an I heard him say “it’s raw”. The fish was removed for a more thorough cook. It was a very large fish…

The posts were on a Facebook page called “Aggressor Addicts”. Presumably it’s for divers who love Aggressor trips but I now see it’s “A Community for Aggressor Adventures”.

Interestingly there was a post from 2 days ago made by a diver presently on an Aggressor trip lamenting his experience and it is still up.

My post must have struck a nerve.
