Am trying to locate the serial number of my Revo mini rebreather -- for insurance purposes. Have been all over the box and can't find anything, certainly not on the outer case. Am looking for an engraving or stamped number.

Anyone know where it might be?

its stamped at the bottom of titanium box behind the wing. So id you still have a revo wing attached pull the bottom RHS of the wing up (whilst facing the wing) you see it

Took me years to accidently find mine. As stated above. It is hidden.
Lay the rebreather on the tanks, webbing up.
Go to the bottom of the cutting board and lift the bottom lip of the wing just to the side of the cutting board.
Mine isn't stamped, but etched. That is on the counterlung cover plate.

If you have the increased counterlung option (CE version) look where the crotch strap attaches at. Look in the gap where the spacers are at. The same number is on the main chassis.

Found it -- thanks!!!

What a sod to see; hidden just behind the crotch strap where the case curves in for the inhale lung. Definitely hidden by a stand.

At least I can now have that number for the insurance. I got Revo to change the registration to me in 2020 from the previous owner, but they didn't tell me the serial number :)

Yay, achieved something today.

All getting ready for a foreign trip in an aeroplane to somewhere warm!

nice where are you heading - got trips booked but cant get there at present due to restricted entries

Just a week in Lanzarote -- off the Moroccan coast. A friend is doing a course and I'm just going to get some hydrobaric therapy. Hopefully warmish waters -- circa 21 degrees -- and great visibility. Not many wrecks there so it'll be looking at weeds and fish.

Will be my first time flying with a rebreather. Main purpose is to work out the logistics of flying with cylinder rental and consumable buying as I've every intention to fly my donkey off over the next couple or three years.

In case no one told you, first 4 digits of serial number are the build date of your unit, YYMM.
That matches my December of 2017 date code on mine. Just after Mares bought in. Still came with Apeks 1st stages but a few of the plastic quick connects are Mares branded. Dang, nearly 5 year old.

Major service looming?
