Has anyone had any problem with charging the remote for Thermalution yellow using the flat wireless charging pad? It keeps on beeping and the remote yellow light goes on and off. I have tried several different USB cables and plugs per their website suggestion but no luck. Also need to note I haven't used it for a long time so the remote was totally out of the juice.

Thank you!

That may be your problem - that it’s totally out of juice. I was told that if you let the remote get totally run down the connection between it and the vest would be broken and they’d have to go back to Taiwan to be rematched.

It seems the OP is having problem charging the remote, not pairing it.
It's a long shot but have you tried sliding the switch while charging the unit to make sure it's turned off?

Apparently I need to replace the remote as I was not supposed to leave it totally dead. I'm leaving it on the charger for a while (beeping away) to see if it picks up any juice in between beeping. Will update the thread if that works but most likely it's another $200 on the remote...

Can I ask you how long it was from the last charge?

Long shot, if you are still trying to kickstart it: Try the freezer. I have had problems with other batteries, (not my thermalution though), that wont charge, but for some reason if I wrap in dry paper towel, (to absorb moisture) and put in freezer for twenty minutes, it finds some spark to try charging again. Anyway, I would try that before throwing it out, as a last ditch effort

As a very last resort, before paying $200 for a new control, I would try to open it with a Dremel cutting wheel. See if you can charge the battery directly with wire, if so, you can seal the the case with marine epoxy. It probably has a 3.7 volt Li ion cell that can be charged with a single cell charger.

A happy update to the problem - I tried a new wireless charger and the remote has charged! Might be worth a try if anyone encounters similar problem.
