I’ve had the DIN version of this gauge for 15 years and I still use it constantly. Confirming pressure when picking up the tanks, checking pressures at home, etc. It is an essential piece of gear for every diver IMO.

The shops I use have a pressure gauge attached to their Nitrox analyzer. Even so I check them again at home to confirm what pressure they’ve cooled down to. Helps me select the right tank for a given dive based upon planned depth. When I get an especially good fill I’ll save that tank for my deeper dives.

Good point made by @JimBlay for the OP (or others who have not given up after the first few post.) Yes, check the pressure and feel the tank. Is it still warm from the fill? If yes, ask that enough pressure be added to compensate for the pressure loss due to cooling.
