I was discussing a single-tank perspective as I don't have experience in diving with twins and the OP was asking for options for single-tank diving.
True.
But always with double/sm tec in mind for a near future
Any how, the package is out for delivery today :D

Actually you never said whether it was for single-tank or doubles/sm.

I guess I just inferred. My bad.

You can always add the 5th port latter, just google search DST 5th port kit. Most Apeks dealers carry them and they take like 30 seconds to install.

I added mine later on a FSR and it had been cheaper to buy it already in first place (if not on sale).

I paid equal to about 20 euro each for my FSR 5th port kits, pretty much negligible.

I did not install them myself. I do not have enough knowledge to play around with my first stage.
I'm curious, how much were you charged to have them installed?
Also you need pretty much zero knowledge to install the kits, the instructions is like 8 photos with descriptions, easier than putting together a Lego set made for 5 year olds.
It's not "playing around" with your first stage, but I'm sure anyone who runs a dive shop would make that case to customers.

The retail price was 30 EUR. There was no additional charge to install it.
I just avoid to make any changes to my regulator by myself, so did not buy it online (where it would be cheaper).
The dive shop did not make any case because I did not consider installing it myself. It was a case of "how much would it cost me to get this done?".

I payed 640 euros on deepstop for the DST with 5th port 2x XTX50 with miflex hoses (210cm + 56cm for backup), backup reg with necklace bungee, inflator hose 56cm, 60cm HP hose and SPG and an Apeks carry bag. Everything with boltsnaps.

I think it was a good deal
