Really?... Biak? ... So that was not a legend?
Wondering how many pax would disembark in Biak even though one liveboard was there...
That country never ceases to amaze...
( I also remember 2011 in Ambon when Garuda promoted their new Singapore-Ambon direct flight... which never happened.)
Would have become a HUB to continue to other parts of East Indonesia. The same plan as they had (have?) for Morotai.

hahaha....I give up. I start to get the impression we behave as a Jehovah's witness talking with Sam Harris. No hard feelings.

I don't have a clue what you're going on about, but ye it's better if everyone think positif

This is a very strong message. From the first mentiond article:
"If you were holding out hope that flights overseas may trickle back by Christmas given some Australian border have started to reopen – think again. In another sign that holidays overseas will be off the cards until well into 2021, Qantas have officially removed international flight bookings – bar New Zealand – from their website until March 28, 2021." I do not think in terms such as optimistic and pessimistic. It is already difficult enough to be realistic with all insights in this crisis continuously changing and adjusting to the latest science. My conclusion: No idea what to do next.

Even mild and asymptomatic cases will turn us into non-divers:

May, not will.
Yeah, if I understood correctly, "just" 11 of 37 asymptomatic patients had lung damage.
Not a negligible percentage, indeed: I do not want to play Russian roulette with 2 bullets in a 6-slots revolver...

Agreed. I'd rather be symptomatic and NOT have lung damage.....I hope I don't have to choose.
