Victoria Vis conditions?

Dove at Oak Point yesterday morning. Vis ranged from 10 - 20 feet - best in the shallows. At 40 feet we hit a "black wall" where visibility all but disappeared. Enjoyed a nice long dive staying around 30 feet. Hopefully visibility will continue to incease in the coming days !!

Dove at Tyee yesterday. Vis was much better - about 30 feet at depth, and better in the shallows. Hope this is a sign of things to come.

The mid island area has finally cleared up nicely. Local vis reports have all been positive, with 50 feet plus at most sites. Now if the wind would die down..........

At Dyer Rocks (Saanich Inlet) today visibility was 10' in the shallows. Below 25' deep, it started to clear up. Below 50' deep, visibility was a great 60-80'.

After one great dive at Madrona Point a couple of weeks ago, visibility has for the most part disappeared.

Dove at Madrona Point this morning - 5 feet at best until we got past the 70 foot mark, then it opened up a bit.

Dove at Oak Point yesterday - about 5 feet in the shallows, then cleared up to about 20 feet when we hit 50 foot depth.

Last Thursday at Dolphin - pretty well a braille dive - hadn't cleared up at 70 feet so we aborted the dive.

Pretty green and mucky today at Ogden Point. -Maybe 10' visibility.

Dove at Madrona Point last night. Soupy in the shallows, but cleared up at about 40 feet. About 30 feet of visibility on the big wall.

Visibility was about 15' in the shallows at McKenzie Bight this morning. It started to get clearer below 25' deep. Below 60' deep, visibility was probably 50'. There were lots of particles at all depths.

Visibility was 10-15' in Enterprise Channel today.
