It cheapens the sacrifice, may as well drag the concrete to shore and scrap the remains.Although I’m opposed to using the name, it is for other reasons. Naming another ship Arizona is quite an honour, since there are less ships in the US Navy now, than when it sank. BB39 Arizona is a memorial not a Naval vessel, as it was decommissioned in the same month it sank.
Commissioning another Arizona is a tribute to her and her men, not disrespect.
