So, I'm looking for a last-minute liveaboard as I'll be in Asia in next month. After much research, I've decided on Raja Ampat and have narrrowed it down to 3 trips:
1) ILIKE @ Triton Bay - Forgotten Islands
2) CALICO JACK @ Raja Ampat
3) INDO AGGRESSOR @ Forgotten Islands (Kai Islands and Tanimbar Islands)

All 3 are 11 or 12 night trips. I have searched high and low and I can't find solid honest and helpful reviews of all three. So my first set of questions:

1) Anyone out there been on any of these three? How was your experience with the boat? With the boat crew? With the trip leader? With the DMs?

I've been told Forgotten Islands is not common itinerary whereas there are a lot of RA trips, hence someone recommended I go for ILIKE or AGGRESSOR. So my next few questions:

2) If I go with AGGRESSOR, what am I missing at Triton Bay?
3) I can't find an preliminary itinerary for ILIKE's trip so I have no idea what the plans are for Forgotten Islands so I can't do a one-on-one comparison. I have emailed them so waiting for a reply... Either way, what should I expect to see in Forgotten Islands?

I've heard not-so-great things about the Aggressor fleet and also know about what happened with Komodo Dancer (I believe that was what it was called previously) a few years ? ago. So many mixed reviews online that my head is spinning...

Looking to you all for guidance! xo

I heard enough about the forgotten islands not being that great, so we just booked to go back to Komodo - Ironically on the Indo Aggressor. I have done a could trips with Aggressor... last time I said I wouldn't do another. I think their quality has gone down hill. But it was pretty heavily discounted so we decided to go for it. We sail May 3.

And today I heard back that the Aggressor made a mistake and our cabin (the last one available) was already booked and paid for so we have no spot.

We did the forgotten island tour from Saumlaki to Alor in April 2018 on Ambai. Probably not the best time as the weather can be still unreliable and very rough. We had to sit a storm out for 2 days. The diving was absolutely amazing. The most pristine reefs I have ever seen . Lots of fish . First class wall diving and top muck diving . Not many sharks as wrong season.Very interesting island trips. I have dived Raja Ampat and Komodo and Sulawesi. It is up there with the best .
I would go back in a heart beat if money allows but would prefer to go in autumn .
The Seven Seas has quite a bit of information on her website about the Forgotten Island Trips
