parkway system nautilus?

hey guys!

I'm not diver but found this for $5 at a garage sale and couldnt leave it behind. after hours of looking for comps online I cant find anything. the box says parkway systems and its red and has a nautilus sticker on it. large batteries. just want more info on what I have and what I should do with it. thanks!

can you explain, how motor is attaching to the diver? Or you should hold it in hands only?

Are you sure that is diving related? You sure it is not just a trolling motor or maybe a water agitator for de-icing next to a pier?

It doesn't look familiar as diving gear, but it does look similar to the water agitators I remember seen in the winter next to the piers when I lived in Annapolis, Md. But I could be totally wrong.

Can you show some more pictures of the components?

Well spotted, Ghetto Diver! There was another, similar-purpose, device named "The Nautilus" in the 1962 underwater equipment catalogue of London's premier sporting goods store Lillywhites:
