As the title says I want to pick up a few 1lb coated weights to use in trimming out. I found one source with ugly yellow ones. Are black coated weights that hot of an item that stores can’t keep them in stock? Does anyone have a good source?

She has dump pockets and either will work on those. I don't know of any good way to attach a soft weight to the top of the shoulder strap.A8...
Contact Dan's Dive Shop in St. Catharines Ontario...Matt carries one pound Sea Pearls shot packs...
They're cheap...and you can take advantage of your ''higher'' US dollar...
Just my opinion but soft weights are better than hard weights...easier on your BCD...will ''self mould to shape...less skin contact with raw lead...especially important with kids...quick and easy rinsing/drying...
Best...

I have, and she has one, but she needs the weight higher up, like right up around the neck area, so something that I could clip right to the top of each shoulder strap works. I cant think of a good way to clip to lights up there that would be easy for her to use and put back as required.Have you ever considered large boltsnap or 2? A flash light?
This would be my quickest and simplest solution but I run into an issue. She has the Deep6 signature regs, and they stick out a good bit. When I try to shift her tank up she bangs the back of her head and doesn't like it.Move cylinder fore or aft slightly to change balance. It doesn’t take much of a change to alter your trim drastically.
I dont care too much about color but would prefer something a bit less "harsh" ill say. I did not want to have plain old exposed lead. I thought about painting but she is using my LDS weights which are painted and it is flaking off all over her gear so I was trying to avoid that as she has orange paint flecks all over I need to clean up now. Maybe I am being to picky. Are you a slave to fashion? Why do you need them painted? My LDS has a pile of 1lb lead weights. If you are worried about handling exposed lead, just paint then clear coat the weights.
