Eh but thanks, I never claimed to be perfect. Between my two units (meg and kiss sidewinder) I have roughly 275hrs over 5 years. 75% of my hours are in <50F/10C water which tends to limit hours.

Overall I am still a baby in the grand scheme of CCR things. I have a cave profile from last month I can throw up later.

I meant in general - there is a tendency on the internet (and IRL) to rip people to shreds for admitting they were any less than perfect (quote from your OP: "I'm tough, I can take it"...), it's much healthier and better for everyone to be open that we all make cockups so everyone can learn from it, rather than everyone pretends to be perfect to avoid keyboard warrior wrath.

Well sometimes I come across as an internet warrior lol. I was making an effort to "be the change I want to see"

The original dive felt like kind of a CF for sure. Like nothing bad happened but a whole bunch of little ughs. So talking about it helped :)

Vs this profile on the same wreck the following day. It's a bit ho hum. Still not my ideal dil and the ascent is a bit slow for my liking but otherwise unremarkable.

In our advanced classes we were taught a much more rapid ascent which I really didn't like - IMO it added un needed stress for me at least but after dives we would evaluate the added amount of deco due to someones slow ascent.

Curious as to what your TTS was when you began to ascend and what it was when you reached your first stop, subtracting the time it took - in essence, how much deco was added due to the "slow" ascent?

In our 150-200' dives, it seemed like a slow ascent would only add a few minutes and for me, I'd happily take the extra few minutes to have a nice calm ascent like you show - I dive OC only and that probably plays somewhat into it......

If you calculate the average depth over the "slow" section of the ascent you can then use ratio deco to have a decent guess at home much extra deco time your slow ascent added. In this case the average ends up being 170ft ish, 4 extra mins at 150 would be about 4 mins deco but being a little deeper makes for about +5 or 5.5 mins extra.

30ft/min is the buhlmann default ascent rate. Slower than that might seem safer but you're way way below the GF high down there anyway. My preference would be to ascend at the 30ft/min rate knowing I am below GF high (of 75% in my case) and for a chunk of that time below even GF 30low. Why set my GFs at 50/75 if I dont follow that? If I wanted 10/90 or 30/70 or some other ascent in my mind I should pick that and use it. 17ft/min is doing exactly the opposite of what the science is telling us about deep stops and bubble models. I sucked it up in the interest of staying close to my buddy, but its too slow for me.
 
Dil flushes at 66 & 67 min?
What breather? E.g., teach me about your PO2 in the first few minutes...
