Looking for some additional options on shops who will do O2 and O2 Clean Air (OCA) fills in the Chicago area. I know Dive Right In down in Plainfield and Elmers in Evanston are options. Are there any others I am missing?

That’s it in the immediate area, save getting your own O2/booster. DJs Scuba near Midway has said “booster coming next week/month/soon” for more than four months and has asked me to leave cylinders overnight for an OCA fill so I avoid at all costs.

Haigh Quarry does OCA fills, but I’m not sure about O2. They do partial pressure Nitrox fills, I know.

With DRIS you can walk in and get OCA fills. All their air is OCA. They don’t charge extra for it.

I don’t think there are any other shops in the area besides these two and DJ’s.

You can get O2 at DJ’s, per @dewdropsonrosa She gets O2 fills there as it’s closer than DRIS.

On a related note: DRIS and Elmer’s are the only places in the Chicago area to get He. Elmer’s actually charges something like $20-$25 (per their website) for trimix “labor” on top of the gas costs.

I live in Chicago, I drive to DRIS for most fills. The price and lack of bs makes it worth the 45 mile drive each way for me.
