Have been looking to get a Perdix, but can't get close to $900

Yeah - a new one on Amazon is $935, so $900 is a tough price point for used.

You should buy that then. That's a great price. Nothing on ebay as of the time of this post is even close to that.

The cheapest one to sell in the past three months was $760 for nothing but the computer.

The next cheapest is $800 and then it jumps to $887.

None of those listing mention anything about a warranty.

I didn't notice that this Perdix auction does have a week to go, but it is there.

As far as the warranty, I have seen lots of bragging about how Shearwater takes care of their customers even after the warranty as if it was still under warranty....even if it has changed hands several times. So either there are some people lying out there or the warranty is a mute point. Just sayin.

Anyway, at this price point I am not buying and probably should have said nothing. My apologies.

As far as the warranty, I have seen lots of bragging about how Shearwater takes care of their customers even after the warranty as if it was still under warranty....even if it has changed hands several times.

That’s been my experience as I got my Perdix AI from someone else. Shearwater has absolutely amazing support. I’ve never heard anyone say that Shearwater tell them “tough luck, it is out of warranty.” That isn’t proof it never happened, but my guess is that it hasn’t.
