All,
I am planning on buying the Virgo system for my drysuit but not sure what size showa 720 gloves I should get, especially if I plan on wearing a glove liner. I typically wear men's size large winter glove for reference. I skinny fingers which would normally fit a medium sized winter glove but my fingers are on the longer side so fit better in a large. Thoughts on the size of 720s I should try? I have heard get the xxl to allow for liners. Thoughts?

Call 800.241.0323 and ask them for some samples. I only was interested in the 720s so they only sent me 3 sizes of the 720s. I have heard stories of people getting a few different styles of samples. Also some good info on the Ultima Drive Glove thread on this site.

If you have a local Grainger, go there with your glove liners of choice ( I use wool army surplus, after trying all sorts of silly "miracal" liners) and try on different sized Showa gloves with the liners. It should save you tons of time and idle speculation. (Grainger also has glove liners).

720s sizing is quite tight, so it will probably be xl or xxl with liners. I use size 7 1/2 surgical glove and showa 720 size 9 is a good fit without liners. For diving with fleece liners I use XXL 720s.

I have large hands and use the XXL gloves with liners. Merry has long, thin fingers but wears L 720s with a liner. Since they constrict underwater, getting a larger size shouldn't be a problem.

Get a couple in different sizes, they are cheap as chips and you might want a larger size for cold diving to fit a thicker liner underneath.
I use the XL for cold water with a liner and the L for warm diving without a liner.
