Sorry if this is a stupid question.... I am diving regularly in UK mainly inland so lots of green water, I also dive in the Red Sea where I do want to get good footage. If I have to choose I want good footage in the Red Sea even if the payback is less quality in UK water.
My question is.... Am I better to put my money torwards a good filter set up like a backscatter flip system or on a tray and light set up. I am not looking to spend more than £200 so I wouldn’t be buying expensive lights.
I have a GoPro 3 silver and a GoPro 7 black so do have a choice of cameras to take under with me.

Strong light will achieve better color than filters but lights are only good for a range of a few feet. I use lights for closeup and filters for wide angle. You'll want a red filter for blue water and a magenta filter for green water.

Thanks. I am now thinking of getting a seadragon 2500 light and the flip filters. Hopefully I will get some good footage.
