Just got my Teric and I'm loving it. Gonna have to schedule a dive soon to test it out

Unsure about other bands... but as fyi this is the one I'm using. By design, one of the pins can fail or fall out and the computer will stay on your wrist. Also, it's zero clearance on the underside of your wrist... so nothing gets caught on your suit or gear. The 30mm strap was a bit long (small wrists)... but a quick cut and lighter fixed it up.

I use the same type of strap on my Teric and other watch-style computers.

I got the ones for my Teric from Panatime. Prices are a bit less than at the link you gave. $18 for a 12" one and $20 for a 17" one. I bought one of each length for wetsuit vs drysuit use. They appear to be out of the 17" one at the moment, though. It takes about 10 seconds to swap from one strap to the other or remove the strap (from one side is all that's needed) for charging the Teric.

5-Ring Ballistic Nylon NATO (Solid Colors)

I have also bought the same straps from CountyComm before. They currently have the 17" strap for $10, but it's only in orange and only the 20mm width.

I have some of the same straps in the 20mm width and they do work just fine with the Teric. You'd probably never realize they weren't exactly the right size for the Teric.

I got a very inexpensive neoprene case to keep the Teric and both straps in. $7 on Amazon Prime. It's the perfect size and amount of protection to throw into my reg bag.

Oh, and BTW, the way the strap works, you can leave it longer and then double it back over the last D-ring and through the previous one. It's a little more secure and it means you can leave the strap long enough to still work even over a thick wetsuit, without having a long strap tail dangling when you use it with a thin or no wetsuit. Like so:

And, not sure how you threaded it, but this video explains how you are supposed to thread a 5-ring NATO strap. Skip ahead to 6:41.

The extra rings allow you set it up so that no matter how tight you put it around your wrist, it does not put extra pressure on the watch's spring bars.

I’ll stick with the stock strap, nato’s are extremely uncomfortable for me.

If I were to switch from the NATO strap (for my Teric), I would seriously think about using one of the elastic straps that Shearwater uses on the Perdix. It is my understanding that the width is the same as what the Teric uses.

I have been thinking about that and may switch for a bit just to try it.

Anyone has a Teric with Burgundy Naro steap to show? I'm thinking of getting a NATO steap in Burgundy but still undecided about the color combination.

My new Teric arrived today, only a week after I ordered it through my LDS. When I picked it up, my boss told me that he had gotten an email from Shearwater that they are finally caught up on Teric production. No more outstanding backorders. All orders are now shipping from stock in hand.

Yaay!! (and there was much rejoicing)
