The one with AC (at least I think they have AC) is Alami Alor, open about 2 years now I think. Have not stayed at any of the resorts so can't comment on them directly

My wife spent 10 days at Alami Alor and thought it was quite good. If you have specific questions about it, I can ask her to respond.

We spent nine nights at Alami Alor and loved it. We saw a single hammerhead on two dives , lots of black tipped sharkes , excellent macro, beautiful corals and the super pod of dolphins. It has air con , very nice food and beautiful but simple bungalows.

I;m curious, which spot did you see the hammerhead and what depth?

Luko we saw them at Current Alley ...but we called it No Current Alley ...at about twenty five mts or a bit deeper on both dives and at about the same stage in both dives. The guides said before the dives that they did not really expect to see them , so we were very very lucky.

do you remember where your "current alley" is located I mean really roughly.

Since my friend is a little skittish about current dives, would it be better to go to Komodo first or Alor first?

It will also have been 7 months without diving for me as well, so we would want to start slowly. She has been once to Komodo and got scared.
