It is not included. Scuba.com and Leisure Pro.com have the Zoop Novo for $299.95. The cable is $85.00. Still not a bad deal for both.

They best part about the cable for the Zoop Novo is that you push it into the receptable and twist it to lock it into place. Wotks much better that the contact style you have now.

You know, I didn't think to ask if you have a wrist or console computer. The Novos I listed above is for wrist computers, which is what my wife and I use. But we both do have a console compter for backup just in case. Si if you need a consile computer, the price may be differnt. Just Google suunto zoop novo and I'm sure you can find them.

Here's an interesting development. My Dives last year were from June 19th through June 24th 2017. I was able to get the computer to read certain Dives. They showed up in the files to transfer as June 19th through June 24th 2006. Looking at the times of the Dives, it appears that the Dives were misdated, reading as 2006 as opposed to 2017. This is consistent with what Suunto told me last summer. Now that I have had a chance to actually think about it and compare the times and the number of Dives per day, it appears that it is reading the data properly, just with the wrong year attached to each dive log. And the frosting on the cake is that, when I looked at the dive computer, it did appear to have 2006 as the year in the set time screen. So, I think I have a working dive computer, and I will take a chance on it, unless you think I'm being foolhardy.

If you have found that to be the case, you may very well be right. Again, if it were me, Id rather test it before going off on a dive trip. At least that way, you would be certain instead of wondering and worrying about it all the way there. Of course, if you do get there and it were not to work correctly, you probably can rent one for the duration of your trip.

You know, I do have to be in South Florida Memorial Day weekend....
There ya go. Sounds like a plan. Good luck with it and hopefully everythung is okay with it.

Just had a similar issue and realised the year on my computer was set to 2001.

Very strange because I have dives logged in 2017 so maybe there is a bug where the computer resets itself to 2001 at the start of 2018?

Hmmm..odd that both of you would have that problem. Out of curiosity, I checked both my Vyper Novo and my wife's Zoop and both are still set for the correct date. I am at a loss as to why yours would reset to 2001.

I have a Suunto Vyper, purchased in 2005. Many times, I have downloaded dive data since then, using the same dive computer, cables, and PC. I recently completed 15 dives from 6/19 to 6/24/17. I also had a dive in December 2016. I am using Suunto Dive Manager 3.1.0 in a Windows 7 environment. Now, the last dive the Vyper shows available for download to computer is 11/30/2015 [see attachment]. The Logbook feature shows the recent dives, which tells me the dives are in the dive computer. I have attempted to connect multiple times with the same result. I have tried using SDM5 with the same result. Does anyone have any idea why, all of a sudden, I cannot get any dive data after 11/30/2015?
Hi DiverDoug. I have had exactly the same issue - I was Googling whether it was common and found your post. I realise quite some time has passed!
I have a hunch as to what happened. I had to replace the battery in my dive computer, and have lost all the dives since but retain the earlier ones. I suspect (but don't know) that when I replaced the battery the date and time returned to the factory setting, and so the most recent dives were recorded as the oldest. Then when the dive computer memory was full, it deleted the most recent dives because those were being saved with the factory reset date. I can't make sense of it otherwise!
I wonder if you might have had to replace the battery before your issue arose? Or if you would even remember that, 6 years on?
