Visibility was about as bad as it gets (2') in the shallows at McKenzie Bight. The water looked reddish. Below 30' it cleared up a bit. At 100' deep, visibility was maybe 20' and dark.

Dove at Madrona on Tuesday, and at Dolphin this morning. Both sites till a bit soupy down to about 40 feet, but clears up after that. A good 50+ at both sites once we got through the soupy layer.

Visibility varied between 10-20' at Enterprise Channel today.

20-30' at the South end of Pender Island today.

Visibility near the old Bamberton cement plant in Saanich Inlet was a decent 20' in the shallows, then there was a murky red layer between 30-40' that made it dark down deeper. Below that, visibility gradually improved to around 40-50'. At McCurdy Point, visibility was similar except there wasn't the red layer.
About 20 feet of visibility at Tyee yesterday.

Visibility at Willis Point today wasn't that great. It was 10-20' in the shallows. Between 60-80' deep, there was a layer of that red plankton that blocked out most of the light. Below 80' deep, visibility improved again to a dark 20'.
Was out at Madrona Point and Dolphin in the past couple of days. About 10 feet of vis in the shallows, and about 20 feet of vis at depth.

Visibility was abut 10' in the shallows at Sluggett Point today. Between 15 and 25' deep there was a very murky layer of reddish plankton. Below that, visibility was about 20' all the way down to my max depth of 105'.
A good 50 plus feet of visibility at Oak Point this morning. First time I have dove the site when I could actually "see" the site. Got down to 97 feet and could see a lot farther down. Looks like lots to explore here !!
