Hi all

I am planning my Raja Ampat holidays .

I have 2 option one in beginning of February another final of March .

what is the best month for diving

Papua Explorers Dive Resort is a good option ?

I spent the month of April in Raja Ampat, a week of that was at the Papua Explorers Resort. You can't go wrong staying there. The resort is beautiful. The dive op is one of the best I have experienced and the service is excellent. I think you will be fine in either February or March. In April the weather was hot and the seas were flat calm most of the days.

Thanks

The wifi and mobile work ?

The wifi worked pretty well. There were times when it was difficult to get on line but for the most part it worked. I was traveling with a large group that loved to download pictures so I think that during peak times all of the downloading was causing the wifi to slow down some. I had not problem getting on line from my room. I was in room #6 As far as mobile, I did not use my cell phone while there but I believe that mobile is available.

Yeah, I'd go back to Papua Explorers. It's an isolated piece of Raja Ampat, as is any land-based operation there ... but we stayed two weeks and didn't get bored with the diving. I had one or two of my all-time best non-muck dives there. Food is great, rooms are comfortable, WiFi works primarily at the restaurant, and some ways down the row of pondoks (bungalows). Have fun!

We were there this past April and my only regret is that we didn't book more than 1 week. Great people, lovely dives, good food (plenty of choice), great hospitality all-round. Would book again, though I am also curious what a liveaboard would be like :-D
