I also kept a copy.

We don't discuss the details of moderator discussions. I will tell you that several moderators were involved and the decision was unamimous. Of course you are free to exercise the appeal process outlined in the TOS should you disagree with this decision.

Better start deleting threads with links to the news stories describing the events that lead to these threads. Those that direct members to blog posts from people like Steve Lewis, Andy Davis, etc. and any references to accidents, events, incidents, etc. that are also being discussed on CDF, the Deco Stop, Rebreather World, etc.
Every post that references a news story is designed to draw readers to that site to see what is going on.
I'm curious as to which mods reviewed it and made the decision. As a business supporter who has been spending a lot of money over the years to support this site, I think I have the right to know who made this decision."
"Hello. After further discussion, the moderation team has decided to revoke your access to the Accidents and Incidents forum. The post in which you attempted to re-direct readers to your own site was merely the most recent of a series of disruptive, aggressive/unfriendly/off-topic/self-serving posts. So the decision was not based on this one post but rather on a collection of behaviours that are not in the spirit of this forum's rules or intent. To borrow a phrase, you are silting up the forum.
After a year has elapsed, you may apply to have your privileges reinstated; the tenor of your posts elsewhere on the board will weigh heavily in the moderation team's decision at that time regarding reinstatement.
Should you disagree with this moderation decision, you are free to exercise the appeal procedures outlined in the Terms of Service.

You mean this? I guess since I did not ask to be let back in it won't happen. No problem. Just funny that after the site switch the ban was lifted for a couple weeks during which I did post there and followed all the rules. Then all of a sudden POOF no more access.
