The guy in the bottom left of the photo had about 30 logged dives when the picture was taken. And he was in rental gear, not his own that he was dialed in with.

So, I'd probably say that it is possible.

They're moving.

Anyone can be flat whilst swimming. Specially in a wetsuit.

Get yourself a drysuit and spend some time modelling for a photographer...

Though I agree with the general consensus of the thread, you can dive any old thing with a bit of practice. I dive with an organisation that regularly, whilst training and, to a lesser extent, once qualified, will tell you to turn up somewhere with your gear. Check it over, then tell you to put it back in the car as you're diving Clives cylinders, Christine's wing, Emma's harness, Richs regs whilst wearing Colin's mask...

The guy down left, very little. I didn't have a picture of him hovering, so you just have to take my word that he also was flat when he was hanging still.

I actually find it a lot easier to trim out in a DS. Getting a little foot heavy when I stretch my legs out? Tilt down for a couple of seconds and move some air into my legs. Getting a little front heavy when I bend my knees? Tilt up for a couple of seconds and move some of that air up from my legs again. Easy peasy and almost infinitely adjustable.

Assumptions, assumptions. You know the origin of the word "assume", I hope?
I have a drysuit (in fact I have two, but then I don't have a WS). I certified OW in a drysuit. More than 90% of my dives are dry, I only dive wet when on vacation, and that's a rather small fraction of my diving. Same with the guy in the photo.

I prefer being behind the camera.

No, you cannot buy my 10 year old jacket BCD that I still dive in.
