I may join if that's cool. I won't know for sure until tomorrow afternoon if I can make it up there.

Very cool. This is an open invitation to enjoy meeting new divers and experience local NJ diving at its "tamest".

My video rig is turning into a major project and won't be ready by tomorrow. Not even close. I'll only be working on getting my 72 twinset dialed in, so I can make myself available as a buddy if one is needed. I either am or aren't in buddy mode, there is no middle ground.

It is all good - try to be there around 7:30pm if you can - that way we can pair up, take our time and enter will little to no stress.

As said before we are a friendly group - there is no pressure and the depths and lack of current make it very easy for anyone to have fun. Just need a dive light or two depending on your preference. Bring a GoPro or camera if you want a video/photo of a seahorse or other critters...
Bring an extra weight or two if you think you may need it - sometimes in the less than 5 foot shallows it is hard to stay down - although LowViz reminded me we should have an extra foot of sea water in the basin that night. :D

If you wouldn't mind a visitor, I'll try to stop by before you start. Depends on my survival of my Daughter's paintball birthday present.

At this rate you guys are going to have to start your very own Maclearie Park Trolls thread. :D
:tongue2:

Well, on second thought -maybe.

:rofl3: You? A "visitor"??? OMG, you own the place...

Twinset? Lp72s? I just picked mine up from DWD last night. Haven't used them yet. I was thinking about a single LP72 but maybe I will bring mine along. Would be my first dive on them if I did use them.

I don't think I can get the doubles regs set up by then but we'll see. If not and you see my interest in your rig you know why.

Either way, no prob. Lots of time to fuss, start with 12# of lead if diving dry, less if wet.

I'll be in a black GMC Envoy.

It really is a special dive. The Blue moon that we are going to have tonight apparently won't happen again until January 2018.
